I believe that I have come up with the most genius idea for your safety improvements.
You should install electronically controlled overhead locker locks, so in case of evacuation the lockers are not accessible and people don't get in the way and in result many more lives can be saved. We live in a time when things are more important than your own life. No one should be denied the chance of a safe evacuation in case of an severe emergency 🚨 The locks should work in parallel with flight deck. If there is a warning the lockers automatically lock.
For the safety demonstration you should add that all required personal belongings should be taken out (medicine etc.)
