Hot Cereal Ice Cream

You can use either oatmeal or Cream of Wheat style hot cereal with all the different flavors that they come in. I personally use cream of wheat brown sugar flavored and I mix it with vanilla ice cream. I cook the cream of wheat first and let it settle to a nice thick consistency then I have both put vanilla flavored ice cream over the top of the cereal in the bowl then eaten it. Plus I have also made the cereal extra thick and then blended it with vanilla flavored ice cream kind of like a blizzard type dessert. Both are very good. I have used all the instant style flavored oatmeal and cream of wheat they all are quite delicious.
