Hinged Ladder Hook Patent Pending
Harbor Freight Tools New Product IdeaSubmitted 5 years ago
Recently we designed a unique series of hinged hooks (patent pending) that fit precisely on Werner Ladders, Louiseville Ladders, and Little Giant. There are no other similar hooks on the market.
Why did we design these hooks?
If you've every hung Christmas Lights on/in your house from a ladder, tried to keep a paint can on the top or shelf without falling off, tried to figure out where to hang a power cord when you're perched on a ladder, or worked with a drill or power tool off a ladder, you know the frustrations of those tasks. So do we!
While the new ladder tops (on the high end stepladders) are well thought through and have a few holes and places to hold things, they do not address the needs of all consumers when it comes to working off a ladder.
After hanging Christmas Tree lights this year I thought there HAS to be a better way so we designed a series of hinged "quick hooks" that fit Step Ladder tops, steps, and even a hook that clips on the back brace of a step ladder. We also have a hook that fits the D rungs of an extension ladder. Using this same concept a platform was also designed.
Although they look like any other hook they are NOT. The hooks incorporate a unique hinged designed that allows these all steel (powder coated) hooks to easily snap on, lay flat, stay put, and are very strong. Candidly when you see one of these hooks on a ladder you'll wonder why nobody thought of this before.
