Disabled Service

Uber Service Improvement Idea

Submitted 2 years ago

It should be standard that drivers for Uber have empty trunks. I have a walker and many times I have been refused either because the driver doesn't have a big enough trunk or has too much stuff in it. I live in the Durham region and do not have access to Uber vehicles strictly for disabled passengers. Also it should be standard that the driver ask if the passenger needs help with mobility devices. So many drivers expect me to fold and lift my walker myself to put into thee trunk. I have to ask them to do it for me and they give me a look like I am asking for their first born child.
